As head of Regional Programs, Rocky Sanchez Tirona leads Rare’s work to support community-led conservation of vital natural resources. Rocky oversees all country teams encompassing Rare’s regenerative agriculture and coastal fisheries work. Previously, Rocky led Rare’s flagship program designed to revitalizing coastal fisheries and improve livelihoods in coastal communities. Based in Manila, Rocky previously served as the Vice President of Rare in the Philippines, Palau and the Federated States of Micronesia. Prior to joining Rare, Rocky was a marketing executive.
