A message from Dr. Steve Box Senior Vice President, Fish Forever
Dr. Steve Box, Sr. Vice President of Rare’s Fish Forever coastal fisheries program, was in Tela, Honduras attending an annual meeting of mayors. During an evening event hosted by Rare and the Center for Marine Studies to celebrate progress made toward protecting the Mesoamerican Reef from overfishing, 14 mayors from communities along Honduras’ Caribbean coast publicly pledged to support healthy and sustainable fishing communities.
