The Amazon coast has the world’s largest range of protected continuous mangroves, stretching nearly 14,000 square kilometers across northern Brazil. These mangrove forests provide a livelihood to 500+ coastal communities and are critical to combat global climate change. In this video, small-scale fishers and community members from Pará share the importance of protecting and investing in Brazil’s mangrove forests.
