    How to bring solar energy to low-income communities

    In an op-ed for the Boston Globe, Northeastern professor Joan Fitzgerald and TSK Energy Solutions managing director, Gregory King, offer ways to make renewable energy accessible to low- and moderate-income households. They cite Rare's SHINE initiative, which "seeks to increase solar generation and electric vehicles in low-income communities, expand community solar to reduce utility bills, and recruit, train, and support residents of these communities for jobs in the solar industry."
